I agree.

If Kevin and Janet get voted out then I will finally believe that people have come to their senses!

The people have spoken!

OH poor BC
The people you bashed so much just won. Too bad for you!

I wanted to thank Maureen for actually being an active participant in her campaign. We lost but at least she was out there.

On the otherhand, I am very disappointed in Joel. He did nothing to support our cause. I stood in the cold with his signs and spoke in support of his candidacy to many people I know over the past month.

Campaign signs are not enough. In my opinion It would have helped if Joel had campaigned more. At the very least I would not feel that I wasted my free time and money, now we have three more years.

What's that sound? Crickets?

Come on Brian be a good sport and congratulate Kevin and Janet on their win.

I hope that all the Council members including those two just re-elected will make a concerted effort to be more civil to one another going forward.

The town wants you to work together to do the best for the taxpayers & residents. Put your old grudges aside and get to work!!!

anon 9:29,
I congratulated both Kevin and Janet last night in person as they did the same with me when I was re-elected. Everyone worked hard and they came out on top.. The people have spoken.

To All Town Councilors,
It is now time to put the past behind all of you and work for the people of Derry. We have very high expectations, we challange you all to find common ground and do the things that will make Derry the best place to live in NH. Make it happen!

I congratulate Maureen Heard for stepping up to the plate in her run for office. During her short campaign, she took a lot of hits, but I commend her for her courage to do so. Politics can be very dirty, and I hope that with her experience and faith in our town that we will see her back next year. Thank you Maureen for your efforts!

The people have spoken and now its time for the council to work together to better Derry. While no one expects the council to agree on everything its time to move forward and over past bitterness and agree to disagree.

...and once a vote is taken, not only accept that a decision has been made, but support that decision even if you voted against it...BECAUSE IT IS "DERRY" WE SPEAK OF.

TO ANONYMOUS 8:04,

You should have taken your "clue" and split it with MAUREEN.

DO NOT ASSOCIATE ONESELF WITH DFD FIRE UNIONS AND YOU MIGHT BE SITTING ON THE DERRY COUNCIL.

THIS UNION IS ALREADY TOO DEEP IN THE TAXPAYERS POCKETS.

You are spot on. I saw a group of firemen standing at my polling place holding signs for Olbricht and Heard. I swear it made cemented my decision for me. Who are they trying to kid, had their candidates got in they would have been picking out new pretty curtians at walmart, after driving over in a the hook and ladder.
