Some have said the buyers were naive however the real problem was their greed and this was played upon by everyone involved. From the sales agent to the buyer and everyone involved in between got trapped in greed.

$2700 year except for Chairman. They make $4100. Unlike Londonderry who will have their budgets approved by voters. Our budget starts in March of each year and the budget cycle begins in July. If any one councilor wanted to, they could give their stipend back. I use mine to donate to local charities.

Post this where you see fit - if customers of Comcast call up and ask for a credit on their bills for the number of days without Cable - they will give you a credit - they divide your monthly fee by 30 days and multiply by the number of days you were without cable.
You have to ask though - they are not doing this proactively.
So pass it along and many in town can at least get something back!
